Creamy Hamburger Egg Noodle Skillet

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the minced beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, for about 8 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and pour in the beef stock. Stir well, scraping any bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Add the cream cheese, stirring continuously until it melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper, adjusting to taste. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly with the creamy sauce.
  8. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld together. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
